So let’s know how to make Bihari style Bhindi Masala Sabzi:

Ingredients:

500 grams of ladyfinger

2 tablespoons mustard oil

1 teaspoon panchphoran (fenugreek, cumin, nigella, fennel, mustard)

1 onion (finely chopped)

1 tomato (finely chopped)

2-3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste

Green coriander

Method of preparation:

Heat mustard oil in a pan and add panchphoran to it. When the spices start crackling, add finely chopped green chillies and garlic.

Now, add finely chopped onion and fry till it turns light golden. Then add tomato, turmeric powder, coriander powder, rechillili powder and salt and fry well.

Add chopped ladyfinger and fry on low flame. Cover and let it cook for 5-7 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally so that the bhindi does not stick.

When the bhindi becomes sofmixadd, dry mango powder and garam masell, cook for two more minutes.

Turn off the gas and garnish with green coriander. Bihari style Bhindi is ready! Serve it with paratha, rice or dal.
