To prepare Dhokla, you will need these ingredients:
Sprouted moong : 1/2 cup
Salt : according to taste
Spinach : half cup
Gram flour : one tablespoon
Green chillies : two to three (finely chopped)
Curry leaves : three to four
Asafoetida : half a teaspoon
Oil : two teaspoons
Cumin seeds : one teaspoon
Prepare Dhokla in this way:
To prepare Dhokla, first of all, grind the sprouted moong dal with spinach and green chillies in a mixer with some water and prepare a coarse batter. Now turn this batter into a bowl, then mix salt and gram flour in it with some water, so that the consistency of the batter remains.
Now you have to take another bowl and grease it well with oil. Then pour the batter in it and spread it evenly. Now let it cook for 10-15 minutes, reduce the flame to very low. When the dhokla is cooked, cut it into four pieces.
To make it even tastier, add seasoning. For seasoning, take a pan, heat oil in it, add curry leaves, cumin seeds and green chillies and after adding asafoetida, fry it in the pan for a while. Now serve the dhokla with green chutney or tomato chutney.
