Soak the Daliya (porridge) in water for 3-4 hours. If you are in a hurry, you can make it instantly as well, but soaked Daliya (porridge) makes the kheer quick and delicious.

Boil the milk: Heat the milk in a pan and bring it to a boil.

Add the Daliya (porridge): Add the soaked Daliya (porridge) to the boiling milk and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes.

Sweet and dry fruits: When the Daliya is cooked, add cardamom powder, sugar or jaggery and chopped dry fruits and bring it to a boil.

Add ghee: Add 2 tsp ghee and mix well.
