1. Sheer Khurma (Classic Sewai)

Ingredients:
1 cup vermicelli (sewai)
1 liter milk
1/2 cup sugar
5-6 dates (chopped)
10-12 almonds, cashews, pistachios (chopped)
4 green cardamoms
2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
Sheer Khurma is one such classic Eid dessert that’s rich, creamy, and yummy. It is made with milk, dates, dry fruits, and roasted vermicelli. A pinch of zing is provided by the aroma of cardamom. Begin making the dish by heating ghee in a pan. Dates and dry fruits must be fried for two minutes, then kept aside. Vermicelli must be roasted in the same pan until golden brown color.

2. Dry Fruit Sewai
This is a fast recipe and filled with crunchy nuts.
Ingredients:
1 cup vermicelli
2 tbsp ghee
1/2 cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Dry Fruit Sewai is your go-to choice if you prefer crunchy nuts with a hint of sweetness. This easy and speedy recipe is filled with roasted dry fruit flavors. Start by heating ghee in a pan and sautéing a mix of dry fruits such as almonds, cashews, and raisins until golden brown. Drain the dry fruits from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, place the vermicelli and roast golden and fragrant. Then add sugar and a pinch of cardamom powder to the vermicelli and mix well. Add the fried dry fruits in the pan finally and mix for one minute. The final product is tasty, nutty sewai to be served hot. It is not only easy to prepare but also enjoyable to serve guests.
3. Chocolate Sewai
A tasty surprise for children and chocolate aficionados!
Ingredients:
1 cup vermicelli
2 cups milk
1/2 cup condensed milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
For a tasty and cool twist, prepare Chocolate Sewai. It’s children’s and chocolate lovers’ favorite. Prepare by first roasting vermicelli in an oil-free pan till golden. Heat the milk in a separate pan and add the cocoa powder to it, stirring to smooth out the chocolate. Combine the roasted vermicelli into the milk and boil for five minutes or until the vermicelli gets softened.
Combine the condensed milk in and combine well all to form a creamy rich texture. Cook for a further two minutes, and add the chocolate chips if you desire an additional dose of chocolatey goodness. Stir until the chocolate chips melt half way, and your Chocolate Sewai is done. Serve hot or cold as a special Eid dessert to impress and wow all.
