Ingredients required for Dhaba style fish curry:

500 grams fish

One teaspoon turmeric

One teaspoon chili powder

Two teaspoons mustard

Two teaspoons black pepper

Two teaspoons fennel

One large garlic

2 inch piece of ginger

Two teaspoons poppy seeds

Finely chopped coriander leaves

Salt according to taste

One large cup mustard oil

Method of making fish curry:

First of all wash the fish two to three times, add one teaspoon salt, one teaspoon turmeric, one teaspoon coriander, one teaspoon chili powder and two teaspoons oil to it, mix well and keep it for 20 minutes. To prepare the masala of fish curry, put garlic, ginger, coriander, black pepper and all the other spices in a mixer jar and grind well.

Now heat the oil by placing a pan on the gas. If the oil is not heated properly, the fish may break. Put three to four pieces at a time and fry well. When all the fish is fried, add half a teaspoon of mustard and cumin seeds in this heated oil. As soon as both crackle, add the masala prepared earlier and fry well.
