Fish Curry: Fish curry is a very tasty dish. For non-veg lovers, fish curry is such a dish that their mouth starts watering on hearing its name. Ingredients to make Bihari style fish:

500 grams Rohu fish

Half bowl of mustard seeds

1 inch piece of ginger

10 to 15 garlic cloves

One teaspoon poppy seeds

One teaspoon cumin seeds

One teaspoon black pepper

One teaspoon turmeric powder

One teaspoon coriander powder

One teaspoon red chili powder

One teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder

One bowl mustard oil

Finely chopped coriander leaves

Salt according to taste

Method to make Bihari style fish curry

To make Bihari style fish curry, we will first marinate the fish. First of all, wash the fish thoroughly in two to three waters. After washing, take out the fish in a large vessel and add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, half a teaspoon of red chili powder and half a teaspoon of salt and mix well and keep it aside for half an hour to set. Now we will prepare the fish masala. We are making this Bihari style fish, so we will use mustard in it. In a mixer jar, add half a bowl of mustard seeds, one teaspoon black pepper, one teaspoon cumin seeds, ginger and garlic and prepare a fine paste.

 

Now heat oil in a pan. When the oil is heated properly, fry the marinated fish in it and take it out. Now in the remaining oil, add half a teaspoon mustard seeds, half a teaspoon cumin seeds and dry red chilli tadka. When the tadka crackles, add two to three finely chopped garlic cloves and all the ground spices. Fry these spices well until an aroma comes out of them.

 

When the spice oil starts coming up, add one to one and a half glass of hot water in it and when it boils, add the fried fish. Cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
