How to Bake a Cake – The cake is a flour confection made from flour, sugar, and other ingredients and is usually baked.

In their oldest forms, cakes were modifications of bread, but cakes now cover a wide range of preparations that can be simple or elaborate and which share features with desserts such as pastries, and pies.

The Cake is used for parties, functions, etc. Nowadays, cake is cut for every small occasion, whether it is a birthday, an anniversary, or anything else.

Ingredients

• Before you start, make sure you have the following basic ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup milk
• 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Equipment

• 1 mixing bowl
• 1 electric mixer (handheld or stand mixer)
• Measuring cups and spoons
• 1 8-inch round or square cake pan
• Parchment paper (optional but recommended)
• Cooling rack

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease the pan with butter or non-stick spray so that your cake comes out smooth and nice.

Mixing the batter

Baking the cake

Then put all the buttermilk in the pan and put it in the oven. Bake it well and set your timer. You have to check the cake with a toothpick.

If your toothpick goes in and comes out clean, then it is ready. If the toothpick is clean, then it is done. If the quail is on, keep adding more and keep checking.
