Ingredients
200 grams bottle of gourd
250 grams curd
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
Finely chopped coriander leaves1-inch, piece of ginger (grated)
1/2 teaspoon black salt
Method
Prepare the bottle gourd:
Peel the bottle gourd and grate it.
Boil it by adding some water for 10-15 minutes.
Please do not throw away the water; we will mix curd in it.
Now, keep the gourd cool.
Curd Masala:
Beat the curd well so that there are no lumps in it.
Add black salt, red chilli powder, chat masala, ginger and green coriander.
Mix and serve:
When the gourd cools down, mix it in curd.
If you want, you can also add cumin tadka.
Serve by adding some chaat masala and green coriander on top.
Tips
Add finely chopped green chillies to make the raita even more delicious.
To add cumin tadka, heat some oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds to it. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add the mixture of gourd and curd.
While making raita, do not make the curd too thin.
