These ingredients will be needed to make Dal Pitha:

One – one and a half cups of gram lentils

Two cups of rice

One small piece of ginger

Three – four garlic cloves

Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder

Two three green chillies

Salt according to taste

Prepare Dal Pitha in this way without ghee or oil

First of all, to make Dal Pitha, you have to soak rice and gram lentils separately, for about four to five hours. Now when it is soaked properly, put the rice in the mixer and grind it. If required, keep adding water little by little. Then mix salt in the ground rice.

Then take a pan and put it on medium flame and put the batter in it and keep stirring it well. When it dries completely, take out the batter in a plate and let it cool. Here you start preparing the stuffing. For this, you have to add green chillies, ginger and garlic cloves in the gram lentils.

After grinding all these well in the mixer, add turmeric and salt according to taste. Now take a big ball from the prepared rice dough, press it with your hands and make it very thin, then after filling a little lentil filling, close it properly.

Now you have to take a pan and boil the water, as soon as it boils, put the pitha in it and let it cook well on low flame. When it is cooked, take it out in a pan.

As per your wish, you can serve it hot with chutney, sauce or gravy vegetable and eat it.
