Ingredients for making Kadai Paneer:

500 grams of paneer

Two finely chopped onions

Two finely chopped tomatoes

One square shaped capsicum

Two teaspoons ginger-garlic paste

Two teaspoons garam masala

One teaspoon kasuri methi

One teaspoon turmeric powder

One teaspoon coriander powder

One teaspoon chili powder

Half teaspoon cumin powder

Half teaspoon black pepper powder

Salt according to taste

Finely chopped coriander leaves

Half cup oil

Method of making Kadai Paneer:

Cut the paneer into one or one and a half inch square pieces. Wash the capsicum well and remove its seeds and cut it into square pieces. Put two to three teaspoons of oil in the pan and fry the paneer well and take it out and fry the capsicum well in this pan.

Put two tablespoons of oil in the pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds to it. After the cumin seeds are roasted, add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and fry it.

When the onion is fried well, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and kasuri methi and fry it well. After 1 to 2 minutes, add tomato paste and cook it covered for 2 to 3 minutes. When light oil starts appearing on the masala, add cashew paste and add paneer and stir gently.
