Ingredients for making Kadhi Pakora:
250 grams gram flour
One bowl sour curd
One tablespoon cumin seeds
Half a tablespoon turmeric
Half a tablespoon red chili
One tablespoon mustard seeds
15 to 20 curry leaves
Two pinches of soda
Half a teaspoon black salt
Half a teaspoon Kashmiri red chili
One onion chopped long size
Method of making Kadhi:
Always use sour curd to make tasty and excellent Kadhi. Take curd in a bowl and add two cups of water and mix well. When the curd becomes very thin, add gram flour, turmeric, red chili and mix well.
Take a pan and heat two tablespoons of oil in it. When the oil is heated well, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves and let them crackle. After some time, add dry red chili and a pinch of asafoetida, add finely chopped onions and fry well. When the onion is fried well, add a mixture of curd and gram flour and cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
Method of making pakoras:
To make pakoras, put one cup gram flour in a bowl and add half a teaspoon of turmeric, half a teaspoon of baking soda, half a teaspoon of dry red chili and salt according to taste and beat well for 5 minutes. Use water as per requirement. Put a pan on high flame and heat oil to fry the pakoras. When the oil is well heated, fry small pakoras in it.
Your pakoras are ready to be put in the kadhi. When your kadhi swells well, put all these pakoras in it and boil them for three to four minutes.
