Ingredients for making Kadhi Pakora:
Two cups gram flour
One cup curd
One teaspoon turmeric powder
One teaspoon chili powder
One teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder
One teaspoon cumin seeds
Half teaspoon mustard seeds
Two dried red chilies
10 to 15 curry leaves
One finely chopped onion
Finely chopped green chilies
Method of making Kadhi Pakora:
To make Kadhi Pakora, first of all mix one cup gram flour well in a bowl for pakora and keep it for 10 to 15 minutes. Put one cup gram flour, one cup curd and half teaspoon turmeric powder in a mixer jar and mix well. Now heat two tablespoons oil in a large pan. As soon as the oil gets hot, add half teaspoon cumin seeds, half teaspoon mustard seeds, two dried red chilies and curry leaves tadka in it. When the tadka crackles, add one teaspoon Kashmiri red chili and one teaspoon turmeric powder in it and also add the mixed gram flour and cook on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes.
While the curry is boiling, we will prepare pakoras by frying them in a pan. Add finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chilies, half a teaspoon of turmeric and half a teaspoon of salt to the mixed gram flour and mix well. Heat oil in a pan and prepare small pakoras and keep them aside. When the curry boils well for half an hour, add the fried pakoras to it and let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
