Kale chane ki sabji : You must have eaten chickpeas often but have you ever made black gram sabji!
Black gram sabji is as tasty as chickpeas, but its taste is somewhat different from that of chickpeas. Along with this, black gram contains a lot of protein and carbohydrates.
Black gram sabji is also made as gravy and dry. The special thing about gravy is that it tastes very spicy and tasty. And you can make dry chickpea sabji as a snack.
This recipe is very easy to make. So let’s see what ingredients we will need to make chickpea sabji.
Ingredients for making black chickpea curry:
500 grams black chickpeas
Two finely chopped onions
Two finely chopped tomatoes
Two tablespoons ginger garlic paste
One teaspoon turmeric powder
One teaspoon coriander powder
One teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
One teaspoon chana masala
One teaspoon garam masala
Two to four dried red chilies
Two bay leaves
One teaspoon chicken masala
Salt according to taste
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Method of making black chickpea curry:
When the cooker is heated on medium flame, add 5 to 6 teaspoons of oil and temper with cumin seeds, bay leaves and dried red chilies. After the tempering crackles, add finely chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and fry.
When the onion turns light brown, add all the ground spices and finely chopped tomatoes and mix well. When all the spices are fried well, add chickpeas to it and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
When the chickpeas are cooked properly, add two to three glasses of water of Kasuri Methi and Garam Masala dal and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Your black chickpea curry is ready!
Serve it with finely chopped coriander dal. Serve this chickpea curry with Kulcha, Naan or Jeera Rice.
