Bhindi is a vegetable that even children eat with great gusto! Its taste increases even more with roti-parathas. Today, we are telling you a recipe for ‘Bhindi Do Pyaza’, which will take only 20 minutes to prepare and will beat the restaurant in taste.

Ingredients:

Ladyfinger: 250 grams
Onions: 3 (two large, one finely chopped)
Tomatoes: 2 (finely chopped)
Cumin seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
Big cardamom: 1
Fenugreek seeds: 1/4 teaspoon
Cinnamon: 1-inch piece
Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Salt: according to taste
Oil: 4 teaspoons
Method of preparation:

Ladyfinger fry:

Wash the ladyfinger and cut it into long pieces,makinge a slight incision in the middle.
Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan, fry the ladyfinger for 4 minutes and take it out.

Onion tadka: Put one teaspoon of oil in a pan, fry the onion until it becomes light pink, and take it out.

Masala Preparation:

Heat 3 tsp oil in a pan; add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, cinnamon and black cardamom.
After a while, add green chillies and finely chopped onions and fry.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook.
Add tomatoes and fry till soft.
Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder and salt and cook for 1 minute.

Bhindi Mix:

Add roasted bhindi and onions and mix well.
Cover and cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes.
Add garam masala and dry mango powder and cook for one more minute.
Perfect Bhindi Do Pyaza:
Your restaurant-style bhindi do pyaza is ready.
