Ingredients for making makhana kheer:

100 grams makhana

One liter milk

Half a bowl of finely chopped cashews

Half a bowl of finely chopped almonds

8 to 10 finely chopped pistachios

Half a cup of milk powder

Half a teaspoon of cardamom powder

Two to three teaspoons of ghee

Method of making makhana kheer:

First of all, put two teaspoons of ghee in a pan and fry the makhana well. When the makhana becomes slightly crunchy, take it out and keep it in a plate. Put one teaspoon of ghee in the same pan and fry all the finely chopped dry fruits well. Now heat the milk in a pan. When the milk is well heated, add half a bowl of milk powder and coconut powder to it and boil it.

When the milk boils slightly, add the roasted makhana to it and boil it for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add all the roasted dry fruits and mix everything well. Keep in mind that the flame of the gas should be low, otherwise the milk will burn at the bottom and its taste may be spoiled. Finally add half a teaspoon of cardamom powder to it, which will double its taste.
