Ingredients for making radish pickle:
1 kg radish
Half a bowl of ground mustard
Two teaspoons of turmeric powder
Two teaspoons of red chili powder
Two teaspoons of cumin powder
One teaspoon of black pepper powder
One teaspoon of coriander powder
One to two teaspoons of pickle masala
One teaspoon of fenugreek seeds
One teaspoon of fennel seeds
One teaspoon of nigella seeds
One teaspoon of celery
One bowl of mustard oil
2 to 3 pinches of asafoetida
Method of making radish pickle:
First of all, wash and clean the radish thoroughly. Cut them into small pieces and keep them in a big vessel and add two teaspoons of salt and one teaspoon of turmeric and mix well. Keep it covered overnight.
Now the next morning when the radish leaves water well, separate all the radishes. Now keep these radishes in the sun for 2 to 3 hours on a cotton cloth. As soon as the radish becomes slightly dry, mix the masala in it.
Mix all the ground spices, nigella seeds, celery and fenugreek seeds well in the radish. When all the spices are mixed well, heat half a bowl of oil in a pan. Once the oil is heated well, let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix the cooled oil well in this radish pickle.
Use only hot oil in radish pickle, this will double the taste of the pickle. Your very tasty radish pickle is ready!
