Ingredients for Palak Paneer:
500 grams spinach
250 grams paneer
Two big onions
Two tomatoes
One teaspoon turmeric powder
One teaspoon chili powder
One teaspoon coriander powder
Half teaspoon black pepper powder
Half teaspoon cumin powder
Two tablespoons oil
Two whole red chillies
Half teaspoon garam masala
Half teaspoon mustard seeds
Salt according to taste
Method of making Palak Paneer:
First of all wash the spinach thoroughly and make a fine paste of it in a mixer jar. Now heat two teaspoons of oil in a pan and cut the paneer into small pieces and fry lightly and take it out. In the remaining oil in this pan, add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, half a teaspoon of mustard seeds and two-three whole red chillies and let them crackle. When the masala crackles well, add ground onion and ground tomato and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
When a light aroma starts coming from the onion, add all the ground spices and mix well. When the spices are fried a little, add the ground spinach and cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. When the spinach and spices are mixed well, add the fried paneer and add half a glass of water. Cook covered on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
