Paneer Lababdar is a dish that makes your mouth water just by hearing its name. Just by hearing the name of Paneer Lababdar, one gets worried that it will be very difficult to make. So today we have brought you a very simple and quick recipe for Paneer Lababdar.
Ingredients for making Paneer Lababdar:
1. 250 grams of paneer
2. Two onions
3. Two tomatoes
4. 100 grams of curd
5. One teaspoon of cumin powder
6. One teaspoon of turmeric powder
7. One teaspoon of red chili powder
8. Four to five teaspoons of butter
9. Salt according to taste
10. One teaspoon of fenugreek seeds
11. Half a teaspoon of garam masala powder
12. Finely chopped coriander leaves
Method of making Paneer Lababdar :
Use only fresh paneer to make Paneer Lababdar. This will increase the taste 100 times. Cut the paneer into big square pieces. Mix half a teaspoon of turmeric, half a teaspoon of red chili, and half a teaspoon of cumin powder in the paneer kept in a bowl and keep it for 10 minutes.
Mix the curd well in a bowl and keep it aside. Add one teaspoon of cumin, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, one teaspoon of red chili powder, one teaspoon of black pepper powder, and one teaspoon of kasuri methi, and mix well.
When the pan is hot, add two teaspoons of butter and heat it on medium flame. Add finely chopped onion. Fry it. When the onion turns red, add finely chopped tomato and cover and cook for 5 minutes. When the tomato melts well, add the mixture mixed in curd and cook well. Lightly roast paneer in a separate frying pan and mix it well in the curd gravy and cover for 5 minutes.
Finally, sprinkle garam masala over paneer lababdar and cook for 2 more minutes. Add finely chopped coriander and serve paneer lababdar with paratha, puri or naan.
