Ingredients for making Makhana snack
10 grams Makhana
Half a tori of fine shave
Half a bowl of fried moong dal
Half a bowl of fried chana dal
Half a bowl of cashew nuts
Half a teaspoon of cumin powder
Half a teaspoon of dry mango powder
Half a teaspoon of chaat masala
Half a teaspoon of black salt
Half a teaspoon of Kashmiri red chilli
Two tablespoons of ghee
Method of making Makhana snack
First of all, heat two teaspoons of ghee in a pan. When the ghee becomes slightly lukewarm, add long-shaped cut cashew nuts and almonds and fry till light golden. When the cashew nuts and almonds are fried well, take them out and keep them in a large vessel.
Now add one teaspoon of ghee in the same pan and fry the Makhana on low flame for five to 10 minutes. Keep stirring the Makhana otherwise the Makhana will burn and something can get spoiled. When the makhana is fried well, take it out in a big bowl and add fried cashews, almonds, fried chana dal and fried moong dal and mix well. Now finally add all the ground spices and mix well with the help of a spoon. Now put half a teaspoon of ghee in a pan and temper curry leaves and add all the mixed makhana and fry on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Finally add black salt and mix well. Your very tasty spicy makhana snack is ready.
