So today we will teach you to make rice in a new way. Which is not only tasty to eat but is also very easy to make.

Let’s see what ingredients we need to make farre

One cup rice flour

Half cup gram dal

Half cup urad dal

Two onions

Two tomatoes

Green chillies

4 garlic cloves

1 inch piece of ginger

Half teaspoon black pepper powder

Half teaspoon cumin powder

Two to three teaspoons desi ghee

Two pinches of asafoetida

Half teaspoon mustard seeds

Salt as per taste

Method of making farre

First of all wash gram dal and urad dal thoroughly and soak them in water for 5 to 6 hours. To make rice farre, put one cup hot water in a vessel, add two teaspoons ghee and one teaspoon salt and let it boil.

After that add rice flour in it and let it swell for a while. When the rice flour cools down, mix it well with hands and prepare a soft dough.

Grind the previously soaked gram dal and urad dal coarsely. Heat a pan on medium flame, add two teaspoons of ghee in it. Add asafoetida tempering and fry finely chopped onion, finely chopped ginger, garlic, finely chopped green chillies. Take it out in a plate and keep it aside to cool.

Apply ghee on hands and make small balls of rice flour dough. Fill the lentil filling inside and close it. You can give it your desired shape with light hands.
