We all know how beneficial gram is for our health. People use gram in many different ways. Some make its vegetable, some eat it by dry roasting it. Some even make rotis from it. Today we have brought the recipe of sweet made from this gram. Let’s see what ingredients we will need to make sweets.

Ingredients to make sweets from gram sattu

1. Roasted gram 500 grams

2. 250 grams sugar

3. 100 grams ghee

4. Four cardamom seeds

5. 100 grams grated coconut

6. 6 to 7 pieces of cashew nuts

7. 6 to 7 pieces of almonds and pistachios

Method of making sattu sweet

Remove all the upper peels of roasted gram thoroughly with the help of a cotton cloth. Grind the peeled gram finely with the help of a grinder. Heat a thick bottom pan on medium flame. Then roast the ground sattu on low flame for 5 to 6 minutes and take out the sattu in the pan. Then add four spoons of ghee and fry all the finely chopped dry fruits till they turn light red and keep them in a bowl.

Make a thin sugar syrup in a separate vessel and start adding sattu little by little. Mix the ground sattu well in the syrup. Finally, when this mixture cools down, you can give it the shape you want.

If you want, you can put it on a plate and cut it in the shape of a barfi. Or you can also make round laddus. Believe me, as beautiful as it looks, it is equally delicious to eat. Even small children eat it with great gusto.
