Ingredients to make Soya Mix Rice:
1 cup basmati rice
1/2 cup soya chunks
1/2 cup mixed finely chopped vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, etc.)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp biryani masala
2 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 cloves
2-3 small cardamoms
1 inch cinnamon piece
Salt to taste
Method to make Soya Mix Rice:
First of all, wash the soya chunks thoroughly and soak them in water and keep them for 30 minutes.
Heat the cooker on the gas and add ghee to it. When the ghee is hot, add cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon and temper it.
Now add all the ground spices and fry well. Then add the soaked soya chunks and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Wash the rice thoroughly and add it and fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add one and a half cups of water and salt to taste and close the lid of the cooker.
Let it whistle once on high flame, then reduce the flame and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Turn off the gas and let the pressure of the cooker release on its own.
Finally, pour a spoonful of ghee on top and serve hot.
