Aam Ki Chutney Recipe: The taste remains incomplete if you don’t enjoy mango in the summer season. You must have eaten a lot of mango pickle, panna, and shake, but today, we brought sweet and sour mango chutney. This chutney tastes amazing with roti, paratha, chaat and snacks. Let’s know the easy recipe to make it.

Ingredients:

2 medium-sized raw mangoes (peeled and chopped)

1 cup jaggery (according to taste)

1/2 tsp black salt

1/2 tsp plain salt

1 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

1/2 tsp fennel powder

1 tsp black pepper powder

1 tsp ginger paste

1/2 cup water

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp oil

Method of preparation:

First, peel the raw mango and cut it into small pieces.

Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to it.

When the mustard seeds start crackling, add ginger paste and fry it lightly.

After this, add chopped mango and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Now add jaggery and water to it, then let it cook ona  low flame.

When the mango becomes soft and the mixture starts thickening, add salt, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, fennel powder and black pepper powder and mix well.

Cook it on low flame for 5-7 minutes so that all the spices dissolve well.

Turn off the gas and let the chutney cool down.

How to serve?

This sweet and sour mango chutney tastes perfect with puri, paratha, samosas and kachori. You can also store it in the fridge for 7-10 days.

Tips:

If you like the chutney more sweet, then you can increase the amount of jaggery.

To make it more tasty, you can also add a little raisin or date.

If the chutney becomes thick, you can make the right consistency by adding some lukewarm water.
