Two teaspoons chopped garlic
Two teaspoons chopped ginger
Five green cardamoms
Two cinnamon sticks
A pinch of mace
Half teaspoon black pepper
Half teaspoon cumin seeds
Half cup curd
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
Teaspoon chili powder
Two tablespoons cashew almond paste
Salt according to taste
Method of making Mutton Korma
To make Mutton Korma, first of all, put two tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the onion well and take it out. Fry ginger and garlic well in the remaining oil. After this, add two green cardamoms, cinnamon, bay leaf and black pepper and fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
When the onion and spices are fried well, add small pieces of well-cleaned mutton and fry on low flame for three to four minutes. As soon as the color of mutton turns white, add all the ground spices and curd and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. When all the water of mutton dries up, add two tablespoons of cashew and almond paste and mix well. Finally, add salt according to taste and half a teaspoon of garam masala powder and cook on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes.
