Ingredients:

1 cup rava (semolina)

1/2 cup grated beetroot Sikandar)

1/4 cup curd

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

1-2 finely chopped green chillies

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

Salt to taste

1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves

Oil for frying

Method of making:

Prepare the batter: Mix rava and curd well in a vessel. Add some water and make a thick batter.

Add beetroot and spices: Add grated beetroot, green chillies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add some more water if needed.

Add tadka: Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them crackle. Then add coriander leaves and fry. Mix this tempering in the rava-beetroot batter.

Make apple: Heat the apple pan by applying oil. Pour the batter, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then flip and cook on the other side till it turns golden.

Serve: Serve hot beetrooapplepe with green chutney or youfavouritete chutney.
