Potato Tikki Making Tips: The holy festival of Chaitra Navratri is going on, and during this time, people who keep fast consume fruits. In such a situation, sweet potato tikki is an excellent option to make something tasty. It is not only delicious to eat but also nutritious.
Ingredients to make sweet potato tikki:
Sweet potato: 2-3 medium size
Water chestnut flour: 1/2 cup
Green cchilli 1-2 finely chopped
Ginger: 1 teaspoon, grated
Rock salt: according to taste
Cashews and almonds: 1 tablespoon, finely chopped (optional)
Peanuts: 1/4 cup, roasted and crushed (optional)
Oil or ghee: for baking the tikki
Method to make sweet potato tikki:
First, boil the sweet potato and then peel and mash it well.
Add water chestnut flour, green chillies, ginger, rock salt, cashews, almonds and peanuts to the mashed sweet potato and mix well.
Make small tikkis of this mixture.
Heat oil or ghee in a pan and fry the tikkis until golden.
Serve hot sweet potato tikki with green chutney or curd.
