Ingredients required to make Paneer Patties:

Paneer – 2 cups (grated)

Roasted peanuts – 1/2 cup (coarsely ground)

Ginger-green chilli paste – 1 tsp

Rock salt – as per taste

Raisins – 1 tsp (finely chopped)

Cashews – 5-6 (finely chopped)

Lemon juice – 1 tsp

Coriander leaves – 2 tsp (finely chopped)

Boiled potatoes – 2 (mashed)

Rajgira or Buckwheat flour – 1/2 cup

Desi ghee/peanut oil – for frying

Easy method to make Paneer Patties:

First of all, grate the paneer and put it in a large bowl.

Add roasted peanuts, rock salt, raisins, chopped cashews, ginger-green chilli paste, lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well.

Now shape this mixture into small balls.

On the other hand, mash the boiled potatoes well and add rajgira or buckwheat flour to it and prepare a soft dough.

Now make small balls of dough and put paneer stuffing in it and gently shape the tikkis.

Heat desi ghee or peanut oil in a pan and deep fry the prepared patties on medium flame till they turn golden.

Serve the crispy and delicious paneer patties hot with green coriander or makhana chutney.
