Pakistan defeated Australia by 9 wickets in the second ODI match of the series, held in Adelaide on Friday. During the game, an interesting moment took place between Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan and Australia’s Adam Zampa. During Australia’s innings, Rizwan sought DRS on Zampa’s advice, only to face a setback. A video of this humorous exchange has been shared on social media.

The Australian team batted first, with Zampa coming in at number 10. During the 34th over, bowled by Pakistan’s Naseem Shah, Rizwan appealed on the fourth ball, but the umpire dismissed it. Rizwan then asked Zampa if he should take the DRS, to which Zampa replied, “Definitely, go for it!”

Rizwan took DRS and suffered a loss –

When Rizwan took DRS, the ball was slightly above the bat. It did not touch the bat. Hence Adam Zampa was declared not out. In this way, one DRS of Pakistan went in vain.

Pakistan registered a great victory –

Australia, batting first, had set a target of 164 runs. The team was all out in 35 overs. Steve Smith scored the highest 35 runs for them. In response, Pakistan achieved the target in 26.3 overs by losing just 1 wicket. Sam Ayub played a brilliant innings of 82 runs. Abdullah Shafiq remained unbeaten after scoring 64 runs. He hit 4 fours and 3 sixes. Babar Azam remained unbeaten after scoring 15 runs. In this way, Pakistan won the match by 9 wickets.

Australia won the first match of the series –

A three-match ODI series is being played between Australia and Pakistan. Australia won the first match by 2 wickets. Pakistan won the second match. Now the third and last match of the series will be played in Perth on Sunday. This will be the decisive match.
