Board Of Cricket Control in India is departing to find the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami.
Currently Jasprit Bumrah is on rest and Mohammad Shami is out of the ground for quite some time. And Mohammad Siraj is yet to find his consistency. the BCCI are aiming to develop a crop capable of taking over from the lead act.
It is noticeable that BCCI elected 20 fast bowlers in Duleep Trophy, these bowlers are being treated as the successor of current fast bowlers.
India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun Said in an interview, “It’s a question of identifying the right ones and giving them opportunities to be ready for the Australian trip. There are lots of bowlers who hit 140-150 kph in the IPL. So it is about nurturing and giving them the right exposure,”
Post 2023 ODI World Cup India have tried different fast bowling options, like khaleel Ahmad, Mukesh Kumar, Prasidha Krishna. But none of them even played 30 matches. It is said that they do not have the key factors like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami which make them the best in the world.
