The BCCI had made a rule that Team India players will not be able to keep their families with them for long on long tours. However, this can be changed now. BCCI can give an update about this soon. Kohli expressed disappointment

Actually, Kohli had expressed disappointment over the rules of the board. Kohli said that players benefit from staying with their families on foreign tours. They feel better mentally. According to a report by India Today, BCCI may change the rules after Kohli’s statement. Now if the players want to keep their families with them then they can apply to the board.

These are the current family rules for players

For players who are outside India for more than 45 days during an overseas tour, their partner and children under the age of 18 can accompany them for up to two weeks once in each series. They can stay with their families only for 14 days. Players have also been banned from taking their personal staff along. However, now the rules regarding family can change.

Kohli is ready for IPL 2025
