SRH win big

Sunrisers Hyderabad batted first, achieving a remarkable total of 286 runs, the second-highest score in IPL history. In response, Rajasthan managed to score only 242 runs, losing 6 wickets in their 20 overs, resulting in a 44-run victory for Pat Cummins’ team. This win propelled Sunrisers Hyderabad to the top of the points table.

Match between CSK and MI

The second match on Sunday saw the Chennai Super Kings face off against the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai batted first, posting a total of 155 runs. Chennai successfully chased down the target, winning the match in 19.1 overs. Despite the victory, Chennai occupies the third position in the standings due to a lower run rate compared to Royal Challengers Bangalore and Hyderabad. RCB is currently in second place with a run rate of +2.137, while Hyderabad leads with a run rate of +2.200.

Other teams

In the three IPL matches held over two days, six teams—Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings, and Mumbai Indians—have played their first matches. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Lucknow Super Giants are yet to make their debuts. Today, the fourth match of the IPL will feature Delhi Capitals against Lucknow Super Giants in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
