Team India Prize Money: BCCI has opened its treasury for the Indian team that recently won the Champions Trophy title by defeating New Zealand and has given a huge amount of Rs 58 crore as reward to the entire team. This amount will be distributed among the entire team and support staff as well as the members of the selection committee headed by Ajit Agarkar. Under this, each player and head coach Gautam Gambhir will get Rs 3 crore, while each member of the coaching staff will be given Rs 50 lakh each.

Cash prize of crores of rupees

BCCI secretary Sakia has given details of the cash prize of Rs 58 crore to be given to the title winning Indian team. He said, ‘Each player will get three crore rupees, while head coach Gautam Gambhir will also get the same amount. Apart from this, other coaches will get Rs 50 lakh each, which includes assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate, Abhishek Nair, batting coach Sitanshu Kotak and bowling coach Morne Morkel. Apart from this, BCCI officials will be given Rs 25 lakh each.

Winning two consecutive ICC titles is special

Let us tell you that India captured this prestigious title with a thrilling four-wicket win over New Zealand in the final match played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 9. After announcing the prize money, BCCI President Roger Binny said, “Winning two consecutive ICC titles is special and this prize money recognises the dedication of the team. The cash award is a recognition of the hard work that everyone does behind the scenes.” This was also our second ICC trophy after winning the ICC Under-19 Women’s World Cup in 2025 and it reflects the strong cricket infrastructure we have in our country.
