Know what is the whole matter

A Sydney District Court jury acquitted 54-year-old former Australian leg-spinner Stuart McGill of being involved in a one-kilo cocaine deal worth 3,30,000 Australian dollars in April 2021. However, he was found guilty of being involved in the supply of drugs. The court was told that McGill had introduced his regular drug dealer, his close relative Marinos Sotiropoulos, to his restaurant in Sydney.

The deal would not have been possible

McGill said he had no knowledge of the cocaine deal, but prosecutors argued the deal would not have been possible without his involvement. Earlier, Stuart McGill came into the news for a strange kidnapping case. He claimed that he was kidnapped, while the two kidnappers said that McGill went with them of his own free will.
