IND vs AUS: Australia has solidified its dominance over India in the third game of the 5-Test series. It has placed Team India in a challenging position by accumulating 405 runs for 7 wickets on the third day of the Brisbane Test. Steve Smith and Travis Head both made centuries for the Australian team. The game on the first day was canceled because of rain. A total of just 13.2 overs were bowled during the entire day.
Australia had accumulated 28 runs without losing a wicket by the end of the first innings. The Kangaroo squad stepped onto the field on the second day, posing significant challenges for the Indian bowlers. Travis Head made 151 runs while Steve Smith contributed 101 runs, putting the Indian team under pressure. Head had also made a century in the Adelaide Test.

Usman Khawaja was dismissed after making 21 runs, captain Pat Cummins 20, Marnus Labuschagne 12, Nathan McSweeney 9, and Mitchell Marsh 5 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah preserved the team’s dignity for India. Once more, he showcased extraordinary skills with the ball and claimed 5 wickets. Nitish Reddy and Mohammad Siraj each achieved one success.
Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, won the coin toss. He chose to bowl first. Two alterations were implemented in Team India. Experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and quick bowler Harshit Rana were excluded. Instead of both, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and pace bowler Akash Deep were provided an opportunity.
