Bumrah and Akash Deep
Jaspreet Bumrah and Akash Deep showed maturity in batting despite being the 10th and 11th order batsmen. By the end of the fourth day, Akashdeep is unbeaten on 27 runs and Jaspreet Bumrah is unbeaten on 10 runs. Their 39-run partnership has kept India alive in the Brisbane Test. In case of not being asked to follow on, the Australian team would have completely dominated the match, which would have dealt a severe blow to Team India’s hopes of defeat as well as the hopes of reaching the World Test Championship final.
