According to a report by Cricbuzz, a team from the BCCI’s Sports Science Department, along with a national selector, is currently in Rajkot to closely monitor Shami’s condition. The inclusion of Shami in India’s Test team will only be considered once they receive clearance from the Sports Science Department regarding his fitness.
