Mayank Yadav’s injury: Big news about India’s fastest bowler, Mayank Yadav, has emerged. According to a report by the Times of India, Mayank Yadav may miss the ODI and T20 series against England due to an injury.

Mayank, who made his T20 International debut against Bangladesh last year, is regarded as India’s fastest bowler. The report, quoting a BCCI source, stated: “He is suffering from a back injury and is unlikely to be fit for the England series. He has also not been included in Delhi’s list of probable players for the first Ranji Trophy match of the second phase against Saurashtra, starting January 23.”

Mayank Yadav’s Injury Woes Continue

22-year-old Mayank Yadav, who has been recovering at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru for the past few months, last played in the third and final T20 match against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on October 12 last year. The fast bowler from Delhi and LSG did not participate in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy or the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Future Uncertain for India’s Fast-Bowling Hope

Sources say the selectors will announce the Indian team for the five-match T20 series, starting in Kolkata on January 22. After that, the team for India’s three-match ODI series and the Champions Trophy may be selected around January 19.

Mayank Yadav is considered one of India’s future fast bowlers, but his injury problems raise concerns about his career. He can consistently bowl above 150 km/h and has taken 34 wickets in List-A cricket at an impressive average of 21.55. It remains to be seen if Mayank will be fit to join the team for the upcoming series.
