New delhi: India and New Zealand have secured their spots in the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy 2025 from Group A. India started their campaign with a convincing 6-wicket victory over Bangladesh. They followed it up with another 6-wicket win against Pakistan. On the other hand, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 60 runs and later secured a 5-wicket win against Bangladesh. As a result, Pakistan and Bangladesh have been eliminated from the tournament.
India to Face New Zealand in Group Stage Clash
Both India and New Zealand have already qualified for the semi-finals, but they still have one more group-stage match remaining. The two teams will go head-to-head on March 2, 2025, at the Dubai International Stadium. The match will begin at 2:30 PM IST. Notably, India has played all its matches at this venue so far.

While this match may seem like a warm-up before the knockout stage, it holds significant importance. The winner of this contest will top Group A, while the losing team will finish in second place. The team that finishes first will face the second-placed team from Group B in the semi-finals.
