IPL 2025: The wait is finally over. All the franchises have announced the names of retained players before the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2025). The 10 teams of the IPL have officially informed which players they want to retain for the upcoming season. The IPL officials of each team have retained the players of their choice from the last IPL squad. According to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), a maximum of 6 players can be retained from the last edition of the IPL squad. The ‘Right to Match’ match rule can be used during the auction.

Today, October 31, the BCCI made it a rule to announce the player retention list. Accordingly, the announcement has been made by 10 parties. The excitement among Indian cricket fans increased the 10 teams of the IPL and many star cricketers. Kolkata Knight Riders are the champions of last year’s IPL, so the enthusiasm around the purple brigade was worth seeing.At the same time, almost all the teams, including the Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Lucknow Super Giants, and Delhi Capitals, increased the excitement among Indian cricket fans.

Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, and Arshdeep Singh were some of the Indian cricketers. Multiple posts were made on social media claiming that Iyer, Pant, or Rahul could change their teams and go to the IPL 2025 mega auction. As a result of the publication of the retention list on behalf of the clubs, some questions have been answered, and the haze has started to move away. There are still some questions to be answered; eyes will be on the upcoming mega auction. It is believed that this year’s auction may be held outside India. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not said anything yet.
