According to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), a maximum of 6 players can be retained from the last edition of the IPL squad. The ‘Right to Match’ match rule can be used during the auction.

Today, October 31, the BCCI made it a rule to announce the player retention list. Accordingly, the announcement has been made by 10 parties.
