Olympic Games 2028
Earlier, cricket was included in the Commonwealth Games 2022 and Asian Games 2023. Now there are preparations to include cricket in the Los Angeles Olympic Games 2028. If this happens, cricket will return to the Olympic Games after about 128 years.
First female and first African IOC President
Let us tell you that Christie Coventry will be the tenth President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Apart from this, she will be the first woman and the first African to be elected President of the IOC. Christie Coventry was elected President at the 144th session of the IOC in Costa Navarino, Greece. Earlier, Christy Coventry was invited to the ICC Champions Trophy match. Christy Coventry was seen during the India-Australia semi-final. However, it will be a big step if cricket makes a comeback to the Olympic Games. Apart from cricket, baseball, flag football, lacrosse and squash are also likely to make a comeback at the Los Angeles Olympic Games 2028.
