India have to Win Border-Gavaskar Trophy
India now has to play a five-match Test series against Australia at their home. To reach the final without relying on any other team or result, Team India will have to win four out of these five Tests and draw a Test. A single defeat against Australia can put India out of the race. Or Team India will have to rely on other results. In such a situation, the path for the Indian team has become difficult. At the same time, Australia has to play five Tests against India and two Test matches against Sri Lanka at home. Australia need to win five out of seven Tests to reach the final without relying on any other team or result.
