Record Alert: A history has scripted in Indian cricket. Yashvardhan Dalal, a cricketer from Haryana, scored 428 runs alone in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy, the highest ever individual run in the tournament. 

In the current Col CK Nayudu Trophy, Yashvardhan Dalal scored 60 percent (256) runs from boundaries during his marathon innings. During this, he scored 184 runs in 463 balls with fours and 72 runs with sixes. Not only this, Yashvardhan scored 172 runs running, in which 159 runs were scored by single, 10 runs by double and 3 runs by triple. Yashvardhan Dalal also broke the superrecord of Sameer Rizvi of Uttar Pradesh during his innings. Sameer played the best innings of 312 runs last season, which was the highest score in the history of the tournament. This is not the first time that Yashvardhan has caught everyone’s attention by playing a big innings. Earlier, he scored 237 runs in an Under-16 league match in December 2021. In that match, Haryana scored 452 runs in a 40-over match.

Arsh came to open for Haryana with Yashvardhan. He faced 311 balls and scored 151 runs. Arsh’s innings included 18 fours and 1 six. During this, there was a partnership of 410 runs between the two. Arsh contributed 151 runs in the partnership. While Yashvardhan contributed 243 runs. Haryana has added to Mumbai’s woes. He scored 732 runs with the loss of 8 wickets till the end of the second day’s play. During this time fellow players along with Arsh and Yashvardhan also contributed. Captain Sarvesh Rohilla faced 59 balls and scored 48 runs. Perth Watts scored 24 runs. Perth Nagil scored 5 runs. Atharva Bhosale took 5 wickets for Mumbai. He gave 135 runs in 58 overs.
