Announcement of new central contract

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the central contract for the year 2025. Along with this, the Bangladesh Board has also decided to give the monthly salary of the players on the basis of grade. Star fast bowler Taskin Ahmed is the only player in Grade A+. He will get 1 million Bangladeshi Taka i.e. approximately 7 lakh 20 thousand rupees every month this year. At the same time, Nazmul Hussain Shanto, Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Liton Das have been placed in Grade A. These players will be given around 5 lakh 75 thousand rupees every month.

At the same time, Mominul Haque, Taijul Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mustafizur Rahman, Tauhid Hridoy, Hasan Mahmud, Nahid Rana have been included in Grade B. These players will be given about 4 lakh 31 thousand rupees every month. On the other hand, Grade C includes Shadman Islam, Soumya Sarkar, Zakar Ali, Tanjid Hasan, Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hussain, Tanjim Hasan and Mahedi Hasan. These players will get Rs 3 lakh every month. Apart from this, Nasum Ahmed and Khalid Ahmed have been placed in Grade D.

These 5 players were dropped

This time, Bangladesh Cricket Board has taken a big decision and has excluded 5 of its players from the new central contract. These 5 players are Shakib Al Hasan, Zakir Hasan, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Nayeem Hasan and Nurul Hasan, who had the previous central contract. Shakib Al Hasan retired from Test and T20 last year.
