Hasan Nawaz Fastest Century: Pakistan’s new batsman Hasan Nawaz made a blast with the bat in the third T20 International match played against New Zealand. Nawaz batted in a stormy manner and scored a century in just 44 balls. Playing at a strike rate of 233, Nawaz wreaked havoc with the bat and scored 105 runs in just 45 balls. In this innings, he hit 10 fours and 7 towering sixes. Nawaz has also made the record of scoring the fastest century from Pakistan in T20 International. He has broken the record of Babar Azam. Babar scored a century in 49 balls while playing against South Africa in 2021.

Hasan Nawaz’s stormy century

Hasan Nawaz gave a brilliant start to Pakistan’s team chasing the target of 205 runs given by New Zealand. He along with Mohammad Harris added 74 runs in 5.5 overs for the first wicket. Harris played a quick innings of 41 runs in 20 balls. Nawaz stood at one end and thrashed the New Zealand bowlers. Nawaz completed his first T20 International century of his international career in just 44 balls.

Fastest century batsman

Nawaz has become the fastest batsman to score a century in this format from Pakistan. He has broken the record of Babar Azam. Babar scored a century in 49 balls against South Africa in the year 2021. Nawaz faced 45 balls during his innings and scored an unbeaten 105 runs. In his innings, the young batsman hit 10 fours and 7 sixes. Nawaz scored 82 out of 105 runs from just fours and sixes.

Pakistan won

After losing the first two T20 international matches, the performance of the Pakistan team was excellent in the third match. Harris Rauf bowled brilliantly and took three wickets while Abbas Afridi took two wickets, due to which Pakistan team was successful in restricting New Zealand’s innings to 204 runs. After this, Hasan Nawaz batted brilliantly and with the help of his stormy innings, Pakistan easily won the match in 16 overs. Apart from Nawaz, captain Salman Agha remained unbeaten by scoring 51 runs in 31 balls.
