Team India is fighting back against New Zealand in the second innings of the first Test match. Virat Kohli played a crucial knock with 70 runs. He’s partnership with Sarfaraz Khan can be a key factor in the match in Bengaluru. Virat got out in the last ball of day three. Rachin Ravindra, who scored 134 runs playing 157 balls, has said that Virat Kohli’s wicket was huge.

“It was huge and Virat is a great player and we still have runs on the board. We know that things happen in this part of the world”, Ravindra told the broadcasters.

“I guess I was just trying to build partnerships and the partnership with Timmy (Tim Southee) really helped me out. It’s a really good wicket out there. Yes, it’s comforting though the wicket is different and nice playing in this ground.”

India bowled out only with 46 runs in hand. New Zealand responded with 402 runs in their first innings. Rachin alone made 134 runs for his team. Team India has shown some fight in the second innings. Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Sarfaraz Khan reached the half century mark. Glenn Phillips took Virat Kohli’s with; Virat scored 70 runs in a quick manner, playing 102 balls. He went back to pavilion with a duck in the first innings. Sarfaraz remains not out at 70 runs at the end of day three.
