Skipper doubtful for the 1st match

The first Test between India and Australia will be played in Perth from November 22. India and Australia will face east other five times in the series. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Indian squad for this match. Rohit Sharma will lead the team to Australia. The question is, Will Rohit able to play the first?

Rohit Sharma answered

Rohit did not give any satisfactory answer on this question. “I don’t know if I will go or not, hopefully it will happen”, he said. He has put the fans in confusion with this statement. If Rohit is unavailable in the first match of Australia tour, then vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah get a responsibility to guide team India.

With this defeat, Team India has slipped to second place from the first, in WTC points table. Australia, now top of the pints table with score percentage is 62.50, has played 12 Tests so far and won eight, three defeat, and a draw. Sri Lanka currently is in third place with 55.56 points percentage. New Zealand has played 11 Tests in this WTC cycle so far and won six, five defeat in five which results 54.55 points.
