A senior BCCI official, while speaking to InsideSports (A professional Media platform), stated: “There has been no discussion with Rohit about retirement. All such claims are baseless rumours, and we do not engage in commenting on rumours. This is not the first time we’ve heard such speculation. He is going through a tough phase, but whether he retires or not is entirely up to him. We havenโ€™t heard anything about this from Rohit. We are currently focused on winning the ongoing Test match.”
