Star cricketer Sikandar Raza, who have broken Rohit Sharma’s record, made history by scoring the fastest century in T20 International cricket on Wednesday. The Zimbabwe captain broke the huge record of Rohit Sharma and David Miller by scoring a 33-ball century against Gambia in the T20 World Cup qualifier match. The 38-year-old Raza took just 33 balls to set a new world record for the fastest T20 century. This was the largest record set by a player of the full-time Member Nation. Both Rohit and Miller had previously scored T20 centuries in 35 balls in 2017.

Raza hit 7 fours and 15 sixes. Playing at a strike rate of 309, Raza toyed with Gambia’s bowling attack. On the basis of Raza’s stormy innings, Zimbabwe scored the biggest score of T20 International. The team, batting first, lost 4 wickets in 20 overs and put 344 runs on the scoreboard. Raza faced just 43 balls and played a brilliant innings of 133 runs.
