Fondly known as “Lord,” Thakur came to Mumbai’s rescue when the score was 47/7. The all-rounder scored 51 off 56 balls, helping Mumbai post a total of 120 in their first innings today (January 23).

Shardul Thakur came to the crease and did his best to save Mumbai’s honour. Amidst the collapse of the star-studded batting line-up, Shardul scored a crucial half-century in a time of crisis. He made 51 runs off 57 balls, hitting 5 fours and 2 sixes, and helped Mumbai reach 120 runs.

Jammu and Kashmir’s Umar Nazir and Yudhveer Singh bowled exceptionally well, rattling the Mumbai batsmen. Indian Stars Fail in Ranji Trophy
